About us

At Latch Build, we build new homes, renovations and commercial projects across Wanaka, Luggate, Albert Town, Lake Hawea, Cardrona and the wider Central Otago region.

It's a family business, run by Cam and Tara. Cam is a highly experienced Licensed Building Practitioner who's been on the tools for over eighteen years and still gets a kick out of a good architectural build. He's the one actually on site running your job, start to finish. Tara keeps you in the loop the whole way. Small team, big experience, and we treat every build like it's our own.

Every job runs on an NZCB contract priced to fit the scope, fixed price or charge-up. Any changes are documented as variations and approved before you're ever invoiced for them.

Built Right
Cam did his carpentry apprenticeship on high-end architectural homes in Wanaka, then led complex builds in London before coming home. Eighteen-plus years on, as a Licensed Building Practitioner and NZCB member, he brings that same level of craft to every job.
